Found my new one.
2000 XLT 109k miles, 4.0, Auto Trans. the inside is super clean. bought from a retired Ford worker, he was the second owner.
Truck runs great. sounds awesome.
Cap will go, Mods will be done probably by the end of summer. it has newer tires, so it'll run those for a while.

Wheels and tires eventually.
Its got an aftermarket radio already, so maybe just some better speakers and some Buggman LED's for the dash soon.
maybe a Body lift with the wheels and tires. who knows.

Gonna sell it, most likely. Its gonna get expensive to keep soon. Trans is starting to slip, Engine has a nasty tick that isn't going away. (its got 180k, what'd you expect)

In the back of it. I test drove it and put it in and out of 4x4 for a few to make sure. But yea, AVM's are on the bottom of the list, something i won't buy until i need to or run out of mods.

Tomorrow morning, hopefully. I needed to borrow some cash from my old man, guy won't take a check. so if my Dad's bank is open, it'll be in the AM.


Bit more info: Truck sat for about 9 months, the guy used it as a second car until he got another truck. it recently got new plugs, air filter, Rear ABS sensor and a transmission service. It seems to me that the front Valence was ripped off at some point, probably from a snow bank or something. The fog lights are pushed back a bit, and i'm pretty sure i saw a few screws.

Ok.
So,
The drivers rear door is going to be replaced, i've got another one all lined up and what not. that'll be in a few weeks. current door had a hole in it, and was fixed really poorly.
I've swapped all the things i wanted to out of my old truck, Speakers dome light and what not.

Mods to come:
In the immediate, LED's in the cluster. OHC. New Ashtray and possibly tail-lights.
Long range - some sort of suspension add on, probably expo leafs and shackels. Wheels and tires and possibly an 01-03 front end swap.

Today, I took the cap off (literally within 10 minutes of coming home) i need to clean out the bed a bit better too.
I also took off the step bars, they were painted over rust.
Washed it, its gonna need a good detail, so that will be soon

Also, Its got a JVC aftermarket Radio. I think i'm just gonna pick up an amp and two new speakers and amping those.

Just the picture. No major dents in this at all, just a few door dings.
Its got some paw style scratches though, i'll have those rubbed out (that is what she said) in a few days. I may have a few questions coming to you in the next few days.

Front end stuff. You had the LED's in most of your gauges and stuff right?
And, i need to figure out if i should do leafs, or Shackles. I don't know if i want to BL it yet.

 

Yeah, I was LED everything. I still have 1 cruise pod with the LED mod already completed that you can have so you can do yours. You'll have to follow my how-to first so you get power going to pod lights first. They may even work right after that mod actually haha
