As soon as they get here, the truck is going up to my work to finish the odds and ends like the manual hubs etc. Then its going straight to a local drive shaft shop to get the front custom. Woot Woot!

And you've gotta love friends who will install gears for your for... free! And I'm just going to go with an open diff for now and see how that goes for a bit. :)

Yes, I've used nothing but Motorcraft filters, that is my first Mighty filter and it will be taken off as soon as I get to start the truck up.

I just ordered my front wheel adapters.

I'm going to be running a 5x4.5 bolt pattern all the way around (ranger pattern). Rear spacers will be coming soon!

The open carrier? Like $65

If I can get a price today, then I'll more than likely order the gears and install kit today or tomorrow.

I'm just going to leave it open for now and see how it goes. :/

I got those adapters off of ebay. Type in 6x5.5 to 5.4.5 wheel adapter and there are quite a few. Search title and description.

I just got an e-mail from the place that I ordered my rear d-shaft from and they said that Fed Ex broke it. Fuging eh! I'll get another here locally for more I guess.

If fed ex can break that driveshaft, you dont want it.

I got the Yukon carrier today, along with the wheels.

But go figure the guy at 4WP said they would fit over the hub of the waggy axle and guess what? They don't. This pisses me off SO bad.

You should be able to have any reputable machine shop mill the hub holes out. Have you got the adapters yet? If so do they fit over the hub? If the adapters fit over the hub I don't see any reason you couldn't have the wheels hub holes milled out.

He needs to convert the front to 5x5.5, get some stinkin' Spidertrax 5x4.5 to 5x5.5 adapters for the back, and call it a day!!!!!!!
