Most of you guys probablt saw this one for sale here on RF. She needs a motor and trans but ran enough to get it loaded and unloaded. She's next in line after the gold truck(number15) I'm probably crazy because I'm expecting 2 more to arive any day...more details on those later! Here's a couple pics.

I probably won't do alot cosmetically to this one...its hard to improve on black! It does need a tailgat and a front bumper though. What tails do you have to trade?

John I just have the stock 93-97 tails that came with my bed. I was just giving you a hard time on the tails.

Yeah it was Jordan's, The valance is screwed on and I never even paid any attention to the bezel yet...lol

 

wow..are you putting in the engine from the maroon truck? I think that about uses up your engine stock.

I have 2 good 3.0's the 98 and a 01 but neither are ff...figures...lol

 

Well the motors fixed! The cam syncro went bad and the oil pump wasn't turning. I swapped out the syncro and fired it and it now has good oil pressure(zero before) It took about 15 minutes for the lifters to get pumped back up but I don't hear any engine noise so I think it ok now. Here's the culprit...

 

Nice. So is the tranny bad or were you just going to replace it when you swapped motors? As for the tails, I actually found a set of aftermarket tails that don't look ricy and will let me keep the 3-Bulbs.

 

Well the tranny is supposed to not have reverse but I backed it off the tow dolley so I am not sure about it yet. Its definatley not working right right now.

 

oh well if you fixed it i changed my mind I want it lol.

Thanks Jordan, when I heard the valves tapping I suspected the syncro but you just never know...I got lucky!
