Project B-FORD-K (VERY PIC HEAVY)
#76
Hell yeah! Took a couple late nights, but well worth it in the end.
I'll probably run the 33s until their done, as tires are kinda pricey. So I'm gonna use them up.
Well got her on the road today and got her aligned. Pulled another late night last night and got the rear lifted. Superlift sent the wrong ubolts, so I had to drill the leaf spring plates out to a 9/16" hole to get them to fit. Still need to get the bumpstops for the front, gotta figure out what I'm gonna do there. And I'll probably get some stiffer springs in the front as these 600s are a little bit on the soft side.
In total with the front t-bars being worn and bent, the front of the truck was lifted 6-7 inches and the rear was lifted 3 inches.
Anyways on to the pictures.
And parked next to Kyles truck for size reference.

I should do a little update in this. I've put roughly 500 miles on it since the lift and coil overs. She rides awesome and I love the stance of the truck being double lifted.
But I have noticed a new clunk in the drivetrain, so I crawled underneath her the other day and found that the transfer case now has some play in her and the cvs are shot. So looks like I will be in the market for a manual transfer case here in the near future and some new cvs. The mileage and the beating on her is starting to catch up.
