I haven't read the rest of the thread past the posting of this picture so you may have already addressed the issue, but I see a problem in how you mounted the upper link to the frame pivots.
From what I know of geometry, this will cause a bind and possibly the upper link to break. The way your pivots are set-up, each bar making up the upper link will want to travel in a circle around the bolt that holds them in place. If so, they do not follow the same path. Both your upper pivots should rotate around the exact same axis. Theoretically, they should both be joined by an imaginary long bolt that goes through both pivots.
