If you happen to want to do the blinker mod where the side light flash opposite of the front directionals, you can't use LEDs in the side markers, unless they have been setup with a circuit to flash when the voltage reverses.

Not that it is a problem for most people but the side lights flashing with the directional or opposite of the directionals is a good look.

Just something to think about if you wanted the directional side marker mod.

This is a great thread, covers all kinds of mods.

what LEDs were you running? for a few days prior to separating my running lights to component LEDs and running the stock corner light direct to my blinker I ran PNP LEDs with the blinker mod and no issues.

thanks for the props I have done a few cool things I think

Now you mention it I do not know, I will have to hunt down some of the PNP LEDs in the 194 mounting and see what happens,
thanks…

Ya a few cool things...

I have been very happy with the PNP LEDs I have bought from superbrightleds.com they have worked and lasted much better then the stuff I bought from eBay.

You may just need to swap in an ep27 flasher but that's quick and easy.

Been busy working on the truck, this weekend I pulled the bed and installed the new hi flow fuel pump for my supercharger.

Also spent a ton of time cleaning and painting the frame while the bed was off.

Here's some pics from other recent adventures

Feels rad and sounds better, has a nice whine!

The biggest difference has been pulling hills. the truck does not down shift nearly as much going upgrades. and it has some great get up and go getting on the freeway again.

For just 3.0 PSI it has made a great difference in how the truck drives. I am very pleased with the results and with some tuning it should get even better.

Defiantly! Thanks for being so diligent with the rebuild it was great to know I can bolt it on and go.

I did have one question for you, what paint did you use? I want to touch up a few spots.
