there is a lot to tear apart to get to the seal.

all the noise i have been hearing is my brakes. the pads are rattling like crazy in the calipers. so i took the tabs and a big hammer and fixed that. the calipers are rattling in the mounting brackets as well. the angled tab that they use to hold it tight wasnt good enough i guess so i took the hammer to that and gave it a little more arc. they still rattle so im kinda thinkin that the brackets are worn down from the years. its 90% better then it was tho. it was driving me nuts. my ears were hurting cause i had to crank the music so i wouldnt hear it.
also turned the johnny joint on the pass side a crank more then the driver to try and get rid of my pull. helped a little but i think it needs to be aligned again.

Hey Beard I have some questions on his Radius arm set up and why you did it the way you did...
I'm plannin on doing something very similar extending mine, ballistic fab joints etc. I am assuming his axle is fullwidth, so with that being said why did you make the mounts inboarded like you did. Had the axle still been under and a FS truck the arms would have been set up MUCH wider. I'm guessin you dropped them so low so not to mess up the caster on it??
I was hopin to either have mine mount right under the frame rail, or getting some 2x4 box and mounting them outside the frame rails.... just tryin to see why you went the way you did on them..
thanks

yes full width. the reason they are in is the arms are set to a certain angle pointing in. after extending them that is where they ended up.
we set them low so his caster would stay where we wanted it.
Also he is going to lift it several more inches for 37-40 inch tires. that will still allow his caster to stay in spec.
