Zabeard has an excellent thread on the steering shaft. Don't know if you've seen it yet. Check it out though.

I agree, too skinny, not enough room to fit all the brackets and your springs are arched, it works but its not what you want. which is why i went wider. I dont think D44s with the right wheels are that wide.

Oh gotcha. I was wondering why it huge out the sides so much. I was like "I thought he said it was from a Jeep."

I need to borrow someones TJ (97-06 Wrangler) with a D30 and so a rotor to rotor measurement. I want to know how close it would be to my stock IFS width.

Where did you get your shock hoops? Are they custom made?
Like the way they look
Also, don't remember if I read but what coils did you use?

I'll ask the same question here I asked on another sas build. I'm not sure of where the ranger reads the speed from, but what was done about the wheel speed sensor and the abs sensor? I'm looking to sas the front and rear on my 03 explorer, but this is the only thing keeping me from moving forward

depends on the year. 01+ rangers read speed from the Tcase.

yea I did a little extensive research and found that. Considering my explorer is a 2wd, I was planning on doing a divorced np205 swap, but it looks like the stock transfer case will mount to the stock trans and i might be able to relocate the wheel speed sensor to it

Actually 01+ Rangers read the speed from the transmission. 98=00 Rangers read the speed from the rearend, and pre 98 4x4 reads from the t-case and 4x2 from the transmission.

And I didn't do anything with the ABS, system no longer functions.

I only know like 2 SAS guys who still have ABS. I guess if you got a D30 from a XJ with ABS you could hook it up but you would have to extend all the wiring.

Great read from first to last page, looks awesome.
You don't need an steenking ABS. i think it causes more problems than it solves.
