looks good but you do realize that axle has CVs right? You might be able to swap those axles out for some with the 297x Ujoints.

if you pay any more then 50 for a D30 then your over paying. I know when we strip jeeps down we give the stock axles away cause they arent worth much if not anything at all.

I got everything torn off of the axle and got the axle housing painted. I lucked out the axle had 3.73 gears in it and my friend has told me that i can reuse the carrier when i put the 4.10s in it.

I could have had a d44 but I belive that the d30 will do fine for me, and its the same bolt pattern, close to the same width as the 8.8 and was a hella lot cheaper than the d44. The suspension im going to run is jeep coils and long arms, still trying to plan everything else. Its going to be aug of 08 before I do it though, give me time to prep and get all the parts, and my sis goes away to school so I get her car for a dd.

Hey Dan what gears will you be running? I will have 4.56s for sale in January.
Also I will have a Detroit True Trac for sale this summer maybe earlier.

Let me know if you are interested. Same with Cross Over Steering and a Track bar.

I will not be selling my axle as a whole... its got a few issues with brackets.
