i've seen a few, not those specifically, wish i could find a better one than i have. that other ad for one, they never replied to my multiple emails, like so many others "trying" to sell toppers on craiglist. how do they expect to sell anything if they dont check email?
if i get this one welded up, get some extra aluminum angle to reinforce and close it up some, i can get it painted black or bedlined or something and it will work pretty well. worst case scenario i make it look better than like its 30 years old and sell it for what I paid.

Well things are a little brighter looking today. Got my window butyl tape in the mail to switch back over to a slider in the rear, since I'll need it with the cap and a rear tinted window...
picked up a hitch for a ford super duty... i should just get a super duty i guess haha. but I'm going to cut it up and weld into the crossmember for a front hitch. cost me $30 and it looks brand new...
also finally heard back from this guy -->http://lexington.craigslist.org/spo/2595603021.html
someone is supposed to come look at it today... hopefully they pass on it.

Pictures of my latest goodies...
The rack on the topper (it's just sitting, not attached). Got the truck and topper washed up today. Topper needs new paint bad.
Hitch from a Super Duty I'm gonna cut up and make a front hitch with. paid $30 for it, looks practically new.
Inside of the topper.
roof basket again.

well found something real cool today. picked up some 12V fluorescent lights from work. about 3 ft long. Think I'll mount them in the camper shell. should be pretty cool.
My plan is to wire some accessories in the shell, brake lights or spotlights, interior lighting, etc, and use a trailer plug harness for quick disconnect. Mount a 6 way outlet in the bed, and use that to power up to 5 accessories. and one pin for ground.
