You need to hurry up and join the double lifted EDGE clan. It seems to be growing quite rapidly.

You have no clue how much I want to drop the money on it all right now. The house and all the stuff in it drained a lot of my disposable income, but I'm starting to catch back up. I'm really shooting to do it towards the end of the year though. When Heather gets out of school next month, the money will start to come in a lot faster lol

I don't doubt that at all. It's a matter of when, not if

A few weeks ago, I did the "**** other drivers off" mod. They're 6K HID's.

Hung out with some other Rangers last week:

Sneak peak of what's next:

Powerdome hood is the best. You can't possibly be swapping it out can you? Powerdome > stx grill.

Looks like he cut it to make room for an updated grille.

Awww sheeet. You like those 6K hids? I ended up going down to 4500k because I couldn't stand the blue tint.

That black ranger have wheel spacers or something? Sits low and tires stick out pretty far.

Don't get rid of that powerdome hood.. at least keep it in the garage in case you change your mind.. or you just want to switch it up once in a while.

The hood in the pic is definitely an 04+ hood. They aren't bad, but powerdome is better.

I am. I'm doing an 04-05 clip swap. My powerdome is trashed, it's got scratches, chunks missing, and the right front corner is cracked from my accident. I don't know if I'll bother fixing it and modding it down the road, but for now, 04-05 steel hood it is.

I do like them. They look like a clean white light to me. They're the same HIDs that Jacob has.

The black Ranger has 15x10's with 2" wheel spacers, IIRC. He has a body lift and coil spacers on it.

I'm keeping the powerdome in my garage for the time being. If I don't do anything with it in the next few months, I'll probably sell it. I honestly don't think the lower profile on the 04-05 hood is gonna bother me that much. We'll have to see.

I almost went back to plug and play HID's after I got screwed over on a projector retrofit, rocking incandescents until round 2

My Silverstar Ultras weren't cutting it any more on my drive to work, but I don't feel like throwing $300 headlights at the truck, so this was the next best option for me. I'm happy with them for now.

I hear ya on that. I may put them back in, for as little as I drive the truck it's not a huge issue to me

Did this today:

I feel like the gap between the hood and the grille is a little too wide, and it's probably because of the sorta-fit header panel. I might end up tracking down an OEM header panel since it's pretty noticeable.

I don't think it looks too bad. What does it look like when you're standing up instead of from that low angle?

I say leave it like that unless you happen to come across one, but I wouldn't worry about spending the time to go looking for one.

Looks good! Is the header panel different on the 04? I've never noticed that vertical bar in the middle behind the grille before.

That bar is on my 01. It's just covered by black trim

I guess what I meant was does the 04 header panel not have it? I'm assuming he didn't swap his header panel out.

The gap looks a little wider than the 04-05 trucks I've seen. I'm not in a hurry to mess with it, but I may eventually try to fix it.

I had to swap the header panel out because the white sections under the headlights are built into the header panel on 04-11 trucks, while those sections are part of the grille on the 01-03 trucks.

As for that vertical bar, the 98-03 trucks have a black shroud that sits in front of that post and basically directs air flow straight into the condenser/radiator. All of the 04-11 trucks I've seen have no shroud, and have that bar visible. I may need to paint mine black since it's pretty visible. It's even worse on 06+ trucks.
