during my last offloading session i had some carnage. what happen was my driver side tail light falling off. after i found it i i could not think of a good reason of it falling off. i cam to the conclusion that it just had weak mounts but i was not settled on that. since that trip my tail light keep falling off and i noticed that my bed side flaps in the wind. i investigated my issue and found this. VVV

two cracks in the bed and looks like my shackles made contact with the rear main support. i knew that it would make contact but did not have time to clearance it. i clearanced the shackles and re-welded all my cuts and cracks.

i also added and 2x2 angle iron to support the bed and stiffen up the rear lip of it.

^^ thank you

i headed south this weekend to visit family. along the way i started to hear hollow pops. i feared that my upper arm mounts were cracking out. well they were. so i ditched the in laws to fix my truck.

pass side

driver side

during the tare down of the front i also found that the lower mount holes were getting bigger.

the fix

hate to do this but **** has turned from form to function.

looking to sell my bed and shell. i have come to the realization that to keep this bed it would be more of a hassle. im in chico ca. and can deliver. would like to 500 for the set or 400 for the shell and 200 for the bed. prices are obo. im also interested in trades.

the shell has a couple chips along the upper leading edge near the cab. other then that the shell is very clean. all the windows are sliders and you are able to insert door screen.

the bed shows its age and has scratches but non to deep. i removed the tail gate hinges to remote mount them to the bumper. this was done to support the weight of the tail gate and to save the bed from folding.

i know the case is for the 9.5 and the gears are 4.10. the width over all is 61-62 inches. this housing will match up pretty good with the 65" wms to wms of my front end. a 9" member will fit perfectly but im not sure if the axles will work.

the info mentioned above found with the help of this site.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6B7I...ature=youtu.be

had one hell of a weekend. fixed my spring problem (watch the vid above and listen for a tuning fork noise). that noise is the coil spring making contact with the upper coil bucket every time the suspension compressing. i also repacked my bearings to get me by until i get new breaks.

this is my coil fix.

my spindles.

pass side

driver side.
