I don't see what the big deal is. The guy doesn't like the square driveshaft. He wants to spend more money for a quality made driveshaft. It's his truck, his choice. End of discussion. OR... we could flood his thread with more arguing.

Why the billet pieces and then the lower tie rod? Was that just to keep the outers parallel during setup/welding?

Also, did you make two passes on that C when welding?? Something that thick I'd want a good hot root pass and then a wider, slightly cooler, slower final pass. If not, at least pre-heat them.


I'm not hatin on your project but just curious of how you've been doing it.

those are the hi-steer arms.. not sure why the tie-rod is still down there tho... depends on if he is doing a crossover steering setup or not..

Front crossmember looks amazing man..better than any leaf setup that I've personally seen so far I think. Can't wait to see more.
