Zabeards SAS Thread

defiantly not Ranger parts! But these are going on the Ranger.

They are the Rubicon Express Long Arms, Rubicon Express Coils, Rubicon Express Upper Arms and their adjustable Track bar. (this stuff is really BEEFY i was surprised by the quality!)

I plan on making my own coil buckets and my own shock mounts from tube.
All i need now is a Yota steering box, should have it next week.

I choose these arms because they were adjustable and do not use the Heim Joint

Adjustable Track Bar

These are 5.5" TJ/XJ lift coils.

Yota Steering Shaft

Stainless Steel brakeline for Rear

Limited Slip Unit for 31 Spline

Spring Perches from Blue Torch Fab (beefy)

Misc 31 Spline Parts

Guess Where I am going tomorrow.

So there you are no more secrets!

What you think?

DAMN!! I hadn't seen anyone on here using those parts yet. I already had the same parts picked out for mine, although I'm probably 10 months away. I really want to see how you do your Spring perches and shock mounts. Very nice man.

I have a 31 spline Explorer axle that i need the perches for.

I am using a D30 from a 96xj for now, but i have some dibs on a Waggy D44 that i will weld mounts for my control arms and just swap it on later.

The D30 i am pulling tomorrow is HP and is suppose to have D44 UJoints not CVs one the axles

How close is the width on the 96xj to the stock rear axle of our truck? I think I remember ours have a 59" drum face to drum face width?

It sure would make the initial swap much easier since the kit pieces are made for it...

i think it is around 60" so pretty close. I will measure Disc To Disc tomorrow and let you know.

i didnt buy the actual RE kit just pieces. Red Rock 4x4 sells RE stuff with free shipping. Saved over 100 on shipping.
