2004 Ford Ranger - $8050 Georgia.
Category: Clean Title
Status: Domestic
I have a 2004 Ford Ranger for sale, in USA - Georgia.
Mileage: 125000 miles
Engine Size: 3.0
Asking price is $8050
2004 ford ranger. Beautiful condition. Real clean. Doesn't sit low like many rangers i've seen. sitting on 29" all terrain tires. Royal purple oil used, KN filter 125k miles. new fuel filter, new spark plugs, new coolant, new serpantine belt and pulley (all that good stuff - replaced for tune ups sake)
also going to be lifted 2" inches up front ( leveling kit) this tuesday.
the trucks great.
the only thing wrong with it:
1) transmission shift solenoid is bad - therefore - no overdrive. If i cant sell, I'm going to rebuild it with a level 2 Shift kit - chime in if you have experience with those.
2) You have to turn the ignition key to the "on" position 3 or 4 times to prime the fuel pump before starting the car (the return valve on the fuel pump is bad - and i'm not going to pay 350 or so dollars for a fuel pump thats operating just fine to replace it)
All in all..a great truck at a great price - i would say. See the 50 dollars after the 80? yea...thats for negotiation Lol.

I agree thats around what my 04 edge extcab with all options except the 4.0/4x4 with 90k miles go for in perfect running condition.

really? what do these trucks sell for? i'll probably just keep it if they sell under 7500. i'm just trying to make room for my full size. i've seen many rangers around - but none that i can say look as good as mine; especially when it gets lifted tomorrow. im sure i can trade it for a nice foxbody mustang on craigslist if i really decide to get rid of her - but appart from the cam syncronixer i had to replace not too long ago (started squeaking) - this trucks been great to me. i've seen trucks that look not even near as nice as mine sell for 11,000 +. with the 2011 mustang and Tundra coming on the way this year though,I'm strongly considering selling. The offer is up for the week. Don't let this one get away because I will keep her!

If she ran perfect you could get maybe around 6k for her, but since it's a bare bones truck the value is pretty low on them. Especially with that kind of mileage. For what you asking you can get the same truck, but newer with less miles. Not trying to give you crap. To give you an example my 04 extcab 4door 4x4 with the 4.0 with all options with only 70 miles can sell for 10-12k. At the price your asking most people will move on to something with fewer miles or with more options. Realistically I'd say you could get 5-6k for it. Maybe a little more if the transmission is working properly.

wow - 12k is a lot for a truck like a ranger. I bought mine for 4k.
I guess i'll keep her around and use it to haul stuff and keep the FullSize in the garage with a few coats of meguiars.

Not really it's what the truck is worth. Sure you could get a fullsize for the same amount, but it's all in preference. I'm not even including any of the mods I did because that really has no effect on the value.

i bought an 06 with half the miles for half of what hes asking, i would say you'd be better around $3,000-$4,000 range, maybe lower with trans issues, but thats just me, i'd be pissed if i spent that much, and then had to pay to put a trans in it
its a truck, you use it to haul stuff around in, not to keep it parked in a garage to be admired

Wirelessly posted (Blackberry 8530)
Wait a minute. Did you just say you paid 4K for it? Now with more miles, and a drivetrain issue, you're trying to get twice that?

sounds like the same D-bag that bought my 84 corvette from me for 5K, and now trying to ask 10K for it
