I'm listing this for my dad...
He has a 2001 Ford Ranger EDGE
207k miles
Driver seat is torn and interior is in pretty poor shape.
Catalytic converter is shot and the thing heats up and smokes.
Body is clean with some scratches and scuffing, no major dents.
Tailgate handle is broken and does not lower normally.
I have no idea what to list it for, he is hoping to get 1k for it.

JK, put it up on craigslist you'll get a lot more hits. If I lived in Cali and wanted to make a project truck I'd buy it because it's perfect to be gutted and upgraded with all new ****. Good luck on your sale.

Hi sorry I have not updated or checked this post sooner. The truck was sold (locally for $1500) it did have the 3.0V6 with a manual trans, but irrelevant now. Thanks for the interest in this. I know it woulda been a perfect little project truck to have some fun in, but california emissions laws are messed up and was way too expensive to replace the cat(s).. Trying to find a way to 'close' this thread, and sorry to necro it. If an admin can close it would be nice. thx!

 

No problem mate ... It sounds like the Cali emission laws are really messed up. If I ever move to Cali, I'll sell my truck and use a scooter to get around.
