2006 Ford Ranger - $$10,500

Category: Clean Title
Status: Domestic

I have a 2006 Ford Ranger for sale, in USA - Kentucky.

Mileage: 82,000 miles
Engine Size: 4.0

Asking price is $$10,500

This is my actual for sale thread. I have had a feeler thread up and discussing it but this is in fact the actual correct for sale thread.

2006 Oxford White Extended Cab
4.0 5 spd 4x4
4.10 gears, limited slip.
Hard vinyl floor, manual doors, manual windows.
Sliding rear glass, tilt steering wheel, single disc cd player.
Clean title, never been in a wreck.

Im putting my truck up for sale finally, I need to move up to a full size for the baby coming.

80,000 miles, well taken care of, but does have a few dents and scratches like any other vehicle. It is body lifted on brand new 32 BFG AT's, but again is not offroaded as it is my daily driver.

Got new brake pads, wires, plugs, filters still in box that the new owner can have, I just havent got around to installing them. It does have full AMSOIL fluids all the way around and the truck is taken care maintainence wise very good. Still have rear hitch, original mud flaps, original grill and surround, and swaybars with mounts as well. I have lots of extras and originals for this truck, I am indeed the 2nd owner, the first one ordered it from the factory and drove it to 50,000 miles when I picked it up, and I still have THE ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER/BUILD SHEET as well. Like I said it may not necessarily be a show winner and I use my truck like it was intended to be used which is why I have some dents and scratches but it is maintained the proper way and the mechanical/maintainence side is top notch.

Has rancho 9000 9 way adjustable shocks which I like very much. Has dual alon flashlight mounts for the seats. Chrome surround and billet grill.

KBB private party is around 12

These are some recent ones, except I did sell the 33 duratracs and classic locks. It is now brand new 32 BFG AT on the stock wheels.

$10,500

and yeah I have and even autotrader. Got alot of calls, just you know how it is, alot of people don't like to spend bigger money on a private party. They always feel more comfortable spending that kind of money at a dealership even though you can just as easily or even more easily be screwed at a dealership. But I guess thats just how it goes.

Little discouraging for me. I have an 05 with the same options and 57k miles and thought it was worth at least 10,500.

I think 10k is a good, fair price. You should keep it if you have to go lower then 9k.

Your is worth that lol, but like I said its just hard to sell private party if its money over a few grand, people just feel more comfortable at a dealer with that kind of money.

Thanks for the insight tho, I plan to go down to 9 or so and like you said, anything below that is just giving the damn thing away. If I was going to go below that I might as well trade it in.

Yeah they buy vehicles outright. They offered 8500 originally and now 8750 so if it doesnt sell private party in the next week or so for $9,000 then im letting them have it.

Its getting down to the point where I just need it gone and to another vehicle so I dont have to worry about it anymore.

Finally going to hopefully get new pictures tomorrow or saturday by the latest if the weather holds together. My bumper is supposed to be done tomorrow from finally getting resprayed and paint matching correctly this time, the body lift is off, it got completely detailed inside and out with claybar and orbital polishing, and I finally got a good digital camera to take some good pictures.

Yeah I know im an *** and havent posted pictures even though I said I would almost a week ago lol, but it really wasnt my fault. I was supposed to get my new painted front bumper back from the body shop fri or sat but I wasn't happy how it matched up.

They did the typical thing, well it is plastic vs a metal body, we have to put in an additive to allow the paint to flex on the plastic bumper, your truck is an 06 and acourse the paint fades, etc but I still wanted it to be as close as they could get it.

They said without the high end machine that will actually scan the paint and read its exact match, they just have to go by trail and error with lighter and darker depending on what it needs and hope for the best. The agreed that they would to 2 or 3 test pieces on the side for free but after that if I want it changed I will have to pay. I figured that was fair but because of that I didnt end up getting the bumper and everything until yesterday. I still don't think it is 110% perfect factory match but its pretty damn close so I guess ill be happy with it. I finally spent all last night getting it put back together and switched over beens they wanted 60 extra bucks to do that and mount it.

So long story short, tomorrow I will take new pictures. Acourse now the truck isn't all perfect like it did a week ago after the detail and clean up but owell. I hate that this pushed back so far, im really needing to sell the truck soon and wanted to hopefully have it gone by this next week when my vacation from work is over.

Thanks

Ok finally got a good camera to get good pictures up.

The truck is garaged everyday so it stays pretty clean. I did detail it again about a week or week and a half ago but it has got alittle dirty by now. Its amazing how much can get on a clean white truck just sitting in the garage or driving it up and down the road for a 5 min trip. Also im no amazing picture taker so bear with me lol.

Thie shows the dent I have talked about on the driver's side door and to the back of the cab. All the dents on the truck were there when I bought the truck 2 years ago. I even called the original owner while eating lunch before going back and buying the truck and he said he caught his garage backing out. It isn't scratched, but just dented there. The price does reflect it having the dent. If it didn't, the truck would be in the 10 to 11 price range vs 9 grand so I feel im being fair for both parties.

I do not have the fogs back in as I took them back out to have the bumper resprayed. I wasnt happy how it turned out the first time so I had them redo it. I do have the entire kit to install the oem fogs and even have a harness made from buggman that included stock style plugs into the male/female end of the fogs to keep a factory oem look vs having to splice in.

Here is the other small dent on the other side that I mentioned earlier that was on teh truck when I bought it. Hardly noticeable but I dont want anyone to think im hiding it from them.

Interior. Sorry about some of the pictures washing out. Didnt realize the sun caught them until I was already inside putting them on the computer. Also shows the seats which are in very good shape.

Shows the tires. 32x11.5 BFG AT's. Only 5,000 miles on them. Also where the frame and everything was painted 2 years ago before winter. Still looks in good shape for 2 winters worth.

More randoms.

Lastly Original Build Sheet. This is NOT a copy or ordered after the fact, this is literally the one that was on the window brand new 6 years ago. It has the tape that is still sticky on the outside of it. I am the 2nd owner of the truck. Clean carfax, never been wrecked. The original owner ordered it from the factory and had it delivered to Earl Floyd Ford in KY. Drove it for 50,000 miles and traded it back in the same exact dealer for a new F250 which is when I got it from them. The truck has literally never left KY and hasn't even been at a different dealer than that one. It is getting harder to find a good clean history of trucks anymore, especiallt private party. This truck has the things you like to have and also the things you dont want extra. It was ordered as an xl with manual windows and door locks and hard vinyl floor, but he had it ordered with cruise control, cd player, 4.0 5 spd, sliding rear window, tilt steering wheel, tow package, and 4x4 with 4.10 gears and limited slip. I have then added the smooth FX4/XLT portion of the bumper and painted to match, as well as factory fog lights. Again its pretty hard to find this combination in a truck with the history to back it up.
