2006 FX4 4.0L 4x4 70,000 Miles
Hello, I'm starting to check the market for my 2006 Ford Ranger. It just passed 70,000 miles on Monday and I'm only selling it because I am upgrading to a 2016 F150. The truck is in very good shape it has new front suspension and front wheel bearings. The truxedo tonneau cover was put on a month ago and the new pioneer radio was installed in January. It is a double din that has Bluetooth and Pandora capabilities along with a USB port. The rims are plasti-dipped grey, but underneath they are in fairly good condition for the year with a small amount of clear coat just beginning to lift on the edges. I work for a ford dealership and we have a red twin to this one that has 79,000 miles and they are asking almost eighteen thousand for it. That seems very high to me. Does a price between fourteen and fifteen thousand sound fair?

Nice looking truck.
I think the Dealership Prices are unbelievably high. The prices of trucks are really high right now though due to gas prices being so low. Looking at comparable rangers in Indiana. I see a price at 11-14. I would ask 16.5k and settle for 14. Then it depends on how long you want to wait to sell it. Also consider its a 10 year old truck.

You also got to think about the $350-$450 Documentation fee that they're going to stick you with too.
You're truck is worth $12,500 Private Party

I just bought my 06 with 117400 miles here in MI like a week ago. If you're willing to pay 8600 for it, it's yours. I also further recommend you change your search to MI, you'll not pay that much, I don't think. It's an FX4, with a color coordinated shell and Level II 2003 Blue seats.
