99 ex-cab 4x4 {MI}
Ok its time to move up to a full size truck for the crap Im hauling so the Ranger needs a new home.

Truck has 150k on it.
Here is the good points. Its a 4.0 and 5speed auto.Has 8.8 with 4.10 gears and a TracLock with a strong IRS diff cover.Front is a D35 with a Aussie locker.Has two new CV shafts.New U-joints,wheel bearings,rotors,drums,pads,shoes,cylinders,fan clutch,battery,lights.Has gas tank skid plate and I made my own front skid plate.Rear has 2" ProCOmp add-a-leaf.Newer shocks.ProComp front shocks.CB radio.ProComp wheels with decent General Grabber AT2 265/75-16 tires.Hitch,trailer wiring and front hooks.Bedliner.Manual windows and locks.K&N with homemade cowl snorkle.3" exhaust with Magnaflow muffler.
At 137k the trans died and both heads were cracked. I had trans rebuilt with new converter and has a TransGo shift kit. I bought aftermarket heads through Alabama Cylinder Heads and had Larry Lykowski port them and install Comp #988 springs. I installed a Comp #422 roller cam,Smith brothers pushrods and DeltaCams rocker shafts. Also replaced timing chain and gears,waterpump,gaskets,plugs wires,belt and idle control plate. Motor runs strong and sounds nasty.These all have about 11k on them now.
The problems...
Needs alignment.Needs new front manual hubs but they have been on back order everytime I try to buy them.You can only get then through AVM and they are about 130.00 bux. CEL on from emissions leak.Havent found source yet.Drivers rear door rusty.Tailgate and front doors showing minor rust.Both passenger side doors have shallow dent from an off road encounter.Couple body guys have looked at it and say dents can be popped out and paint touched up.There are many scratches on truck...I have wheeled this truck off road alot in the past and it shows.Gives it character. In the last two weeks the trans has started to miss 3rd gear at random times.I dropped valvebody last weekend to check gaskets and valvebody and found no problems.Sounds like a EPC shift solenoid issue that isnt a big deal.May or may not replace.
Asking 2800.00 pretty firm or Im looking for older Ford full size as possible trade.

I had been fighting off my kid since I posted it for sale.....saturday I gave in and let him buy it. I guess Im kinda happy it will still be around and its not my money keeping it going anymore!
