I think we need a glossary of trouble codes that our trucks give off. Listen in numerical order......and what that code means. I know there's gotta be alot of them right? But I think this could be a GREAT sticky in the technical electrical category or something. Add the air bag flash codes to that sticky as well....I just think it'd be a good idea.

Can someone make this happen?

Airbag trouble codes are not so easy because they vary year to year and model to model. Aftermarket manuals usually sidestep the issue and tell you to take all restraints problems to the dealer. IMO, the only reliable way to find airbag codes is to look them up in the correct Ford factory manual for that particualar year and model.

What's P0000??? I was playing with my scangage2 and that poped up.

 

Just thought I'd resurrect this one to see if anybody found the answer...this is the only thread that popped up when I searched for p0000. I just got a ScanGauge2 and hooked it up for the first time on my 98 Ranger 2.5 to check out the check engine light. I'm getting a p1401 (DPFE high input) and 2 p0000 codes. Just wondering what p0000 means...currently researching location/what to do about the DPFE thing.

Those wondering about the P0000 code from the scangauge, I am almost confident that it is a bug in the scangauge software.

 

i believe that P0000 is a dummy code.

p0442 is what i throw all the time cause the dip**** who installed my exhaust.

i get 2 p0000 with it every time.

 

i know this post is kinda old, but do you know how to match codes with a test light

 

never mind i figured it out is was soo easy to figure out it was hard, haha, i felt really stupid when i realized it, sorry to bother you
