Signature size limit

I was wondering if the character limit in our signature is to keep them from being to long or if it is a storage issue. I was going to hyperlink all the stuff in mine so people could easily find something if they were interested but i ran out of space very fast cause even though the text is hidden some of the webpages have long addresses

Signatures have a limit on them. Please do not use excessive smilies, bullets, or font sizes. Please limit your signature to less than 15 lines. Signatures can be requested made smaller(or adjusted automatically) by the administration if they are seen as obnoxious, offensive, instigative, or too long

You have a big text box in your profile I think. You could put it there and tell people to look in your profile from your signature.

That or get a free web page. Have the link to the web page and link all the mods from there.

I know what you mean. Not at all sure if hyperlinks work properly in that though. Put one in your profile, and I'll access it to test it. The "List your mods" section at the bottom of your profile edit page is the biggest area you have and it allows a LOT of text. I have most all my mods listed there and I have a LOT of them, lol.

Are you sure that's right? Maybe I have a bigger "space" or something. Click on my user name above this post (next to my avatar) and select "View public profile" -- yours is shorter than mine, and I appear to have room left?

Edit: OOPS! I see mine is cut off at the bottom...oh well...it's still a lot longer than the one you posted.

Sorry about that then. Best way is probably to have a "central" web site with an index of all your other stuff and just link the central one. Cardomain is not the idea but I use it because it's free and all. I'm cheap.

They work in signatures, but not in the "mods" section of the profile, apparently.

can we put images in our sigs?

i notice some sites like f150online.com, for example, many users have a custom image of their truck, with mod lists, etc.

if i made a custom image and uploaded it to my site, linked it as an inline image, would that work or is that not allowed?

No images in signatures. A smiley or two are ok...
