Greetings all - my last time on this forum was Feb 2011, a long time ago.
My last time on my email was .0348 seconds ago, just saying.
I monitor my email 18+ hours a day, but state I will respond in 1 business day to all requests. Life does get in the way sometimes. Especially during car show season when every weekend is spoken for.
Anyone that has been following knows this is a passion, not a primary business. I am one of the few people left that are dedicated to the Ranger/RBVs and I have not moved on to the folks with more disposable income (Mustang/F150) like the rest. This is where I am, this is what I do, this is what I drive and this is what I love. I also work directly with the folks that help support this community with their products and I provide feedback and modifications to manufacturers (like Volant) when needed.
I am “Forum Agnostic”, there are far too many forums for me to “camp out” in any one particular spot, and I don’t see this getting any easier as there are new ones added regularly.
That being said - Help me help you.
I have a few rules that I must follow to keep my life from descending in to a spiraling chaotic mess:
1. Please keep all email strings intact - I will modify them as needed to keep relevant information in place. This request is at the footer of EVERY email along with my “Like” link.
2. Please only email me from one account/device. I don’t care what it is, or what vendor, only that it is the same. This is so that I can see the email "From" address. The record to date is over 105 emails from one customer from at least 3 devices, each with a different email header and “reply” address - keeping that straight was near impossible as you can’t sort by "From” to make it work.
That’s it. Now, those of you that are “savvy” realize that what I’m asking you to do is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Just hit “Reply” and leave the string as is, I’ll take care of the rest.
So, if I receive an email reply stating: “Hey, just checking in”, the response may be “OK”.
Should I receive an email before or after that with the info I need, I go to it first. I currently have 5 projects on the table, 3 are “issues” which I could EASILY charge by the hour, but these folks are making my life easy with prompt responses, returning the files needed, data logging and such.
Think "Path of least resistance". Thanks...
“Pedro” - I received the message “Someone is looking for you…” on my facebook page and was chastised for deleting that message. Sorry, it looked like SPAM from “MyLife”, did not expand on any existing discussion points and didn’t provide any “value-add”. It was clutter, which I’m not a fan of: deleted - sorry if you felt I was diminishing your input.

Thank you Fred, I wasn't looking to cause trouble with you or be difficult. I'll admit it was frustrating not hearing from you. Which would explain the change in topics of my emails. Im pretty sure I always used my laptop but one of the last two might have been from my iPhone.
Again, thank you for responding and even explanning why. It's totally understandable. Life happens. I'll let you know how things are going with the tunes. I just filled ip so it might be another couple of weeks before I use them.
