Said he was going to have it shipped by Monday, I still don't have a shipping number (Thursday), I filed a dispute on Paypal. I sent him a stern message today on TRS. I'll give him a bit more time and then file a claim I think. This is BS. I sent him PM's on TRS tuesday and wednesday I believe and he logged on to TRS yesterday and didn't reply to them. Worst...another headache to add to the list

True, but then he should have sent a quick e-mail or PM explaining his situation. Most people on this forum seem to be understanding and will give you all the time you need if they know there is a problem.

Look, I don't think he was intending to scam you. I bet he got the money through paypal, but instead of using the money to ship it he probably had to buy something else. Probably whatever "came up". And now he doesn't have the cash to ship it.
Regardless of intentions, the end result is the same: he took the money, keeps promising to ship it, and he hasn't. IMO, without being up front if he had something happen, and not doing what he said he'd do, it's BS. Personally, I can deal with someone who's honest and up front, but when someone just keeps saying they'll ship it, and doesn't, I'm done. Claim time.

Yeah I basically agree with you all. I wouldn't even care if he was in contact with me. But nothing. And I've checked on the TRS and he's been online so he should've been getting my PM's. I'll deal more with this tomorrow. I don't have much proof really...just some pm's...and for some reason the one I sent is no longer in my outbox. I do have ones from him tho. We will see. Dangit...I just want this thing so I can get it in and go 4x4ing

Have you made a post explaining this situation on TRS? Maybe someone there knows him or it'll draw a bit more attention an he'll get with the program.
One of the few things that sucks about being here in SK, we have to have so much of our custom parts shipped from elsewhere, used or new. Best of luck on getting this resolved!

Well I made a claim with Paypal...but that whole situation is confusing. The transaction details look like this:

So paypal is giving me a refund? Or Paypal is saying that the buyer gave me a refund. In either case I have NOT gotten a refund.
I just had a basic account with an unverified bank account. So I upgraded my account to premier and added my account but they say that they make two small deposits on my account and then I have to look those up and enter them to confirm it is my account. However those two deposits have not show up on my account yet (I checked online).
Also currently the transaction is "being reviewed by Paypal" and that a refund is pending (issued on Feb. 5th) here is some info on that:

Verifying a checking account can take 4 to 7 business days. (they say it is quicker, but it always takes several days)
Once the 2 deposits show up, you can transfer money to/from your checking account, but since you paid via credit card originally, it shouldn't make any difference... you will receive the refund to whatever method you originally made the payment.
It would be a good idea to call your credit card & let them know you're having an issue, most times when the credit card co. gets involved, PayPal will tend put things into high gear.
Sucks that you're having trouble, but hopefully it will work out for the best... keep us updated & don't forget to leave the other party appropriate feedback (when it's all resolved) to let everyone who may deal with the person in the future.
