"Bought" some cruise control pods from Shane early December, its now 1/3 and I never got them. Heres a quick time line of how its all gone down:

Said I would buy and paid on 12/2...Shane said it would go out ASAP since it was boxed up ready to go

Two weeks go by, sent PM asking about item and got Last week I sent another pm asking for full refund now since I havent received pods or I would be contacting paypal. Never got a response.

I filed a dispute on 12/23, escalated to claim on 12/27....still no response from Shane but hes been online. This guy has a good rep here from what Ive read, so something has really been messed up for the past month or hes being sketchy. Pods were only $20 so its not a huge loss if I dont get them back, but he said he would send them asap and then never heard back from him, not even a "Im sorry, been too busy, heres ur $20 back"

Just want my $20 back Shane....already got pods somewhere else.

maybe he did get them out, i ordered something from someone like a month ago and its apparently been lost in the mail.. **** happens dude.

 

doesn't sound like shane, i have done buisness with him, and always have come out alright, not trying to cover for him... i'm sure there is an explination for it

 

I can't imagine why anyone would be busy around the end of december and the 1st of january.

 

I paid early december...been a little over a month.

 

I think something like this has happened with Shane before. No need to worry though. He always makes things right if he makes a mistake.

 

Hmm that's odd. I just bought some stuff from shane a couple of weeks ago and had zero problems.

 

He's a busy man. Just be patient and it'll work out.

Interesting. Shane has a good rep around here but this isn't the first thread like this I've seen someone post about him.

 

yeah, $20 is not much...wasn't really worried about not being able to survive if I dint get my $ back. I honestly just wanted the pods. My dad had a real bad accident and I was fixing up their explorer and that was last piece I needed. I wasn't in a big hurry to get them, but a month waiting is more than reasonable time to either ship it out or realize ur too busy and issue a refund.

 

Yeah this isn't the first time I've heard about it either...hes sometimes been really slow shipping my stuff before but he always comes through in the end.

 

People... I have a request... when Shane doesn't ship **** PM ME! I've had a few people do it and I literally talk to him every day. I'll continue to remind him over and over and things go out usually withing 48 hours of me finding out... seriously... PM me or Email me and I'll make sure it gets out...

You would think someone who is a site moderator would be responsible enough to ship things out on time, why should you have to contact a second person to get the original person to ship? They have time to talk to them everyday but not the time to ship something that has been paid for? Sounds like a bunch of bull to me
