Icon13 Diversified Creations

About three weeks ago I went to a local an auto place to pick up a set of Nokya fog lights. Last thurs one of the bulbs went out. Saturday I tried returning the bulbs (in the original package and with the receipt) and the guy was giving me s*** about returning them telling me that it went out because I touched the bulb with my fingers and that is the reason it went out. I then told him that I was wearing gloves and was very careful not to touch the bulb when I installed them. At this point he removed them from the original packaging and said "look at all the dirt on the pulg. I highly dought these are three weeks old." I showed him the receipt and he still did not beleive me. The plug things had some dirt on them from all the rain but were not very muddy. We started arguing and I said some few choice words to him (which I should not have done) and left.
The thing that pissed me off is that he was trying to tell me that I was wrong, not that he would not return them (even though the receipt says I have 30 days to return an item).

Have someone else take them in to return them. I've noted it not to shop there.

Talk to his boss and explain what happened and why you're trying to return the bulbs.

Heads up for next time, depending on what kind of gloves you wore, you can still let your skin's oils and dirt soak through and stick to the bulb. That is why you're suppose to use the kleenex type paper when touching the bulbs.

My 2 cents....I have had some trouble with those guys. I do think it's kinda funny if you ask about a part, they google it. It an Ok shop to pick up some stuff from time to time. I have been told they do really good work, but are expensive.

Ya I laughed the first time I saw google pop up on his screen, and yes they do awesome work. They have an article in fourwheeler magizine about an SAS in a S-10 and Blazer which they did, and they are working on putting a 6.0L corvette enging in a Pontiac Solstice which is AWESOME. But when it comes to pricing and customer service, it is s***.
