Is anyone currently getting a tuner from Fred at Rogue Performance?

I've heard it takes a while but I emailed him January 5th and it doesn't seem like he's gotten anywhere. I've given him all my info, maybe he's working on more than 1 right now.

Just wondering, my gas mileage isn't getting better and I'd like some of those MPG's back.

I should have just gotten gears now or started this order a month earlier

 

I dealt with Fred a few years back when I got my SCT. He took his time but once I got the tuner I was ok with it, he knows his stuff and his tunes are awesome. I had best luck getting in touch with him via Email.

 

I tried to get new tunes written for my 35's & 4.88's but then I stopped hearing from him - this was months ago though. My X3 was originally purchased from Rogue Performance years ago as well.

So instead, I went with Don @ LaSota Racing (SCT X3). Don has awesome customer service - I'm talking same day every day answers to my emails.

 

Good to hear, we've been talking via email, but it seems like it's taking a long time.

I'll try to be more patient

I'd hate to just ditch Fred, especially if he has gotten started. Hopefully I get a solid answer by the end of the week.

 

Yeah, I hear you - It wasn't my plan either. I just never heard back from a couple emails when I was asking him what he could & couldn't do with my 4.88's. So I had to move on.

Sounds like you have had better luck than I did!

If he has been talking with you via email - he will come through.

 

I had a similar experience with him, the first couple emails were smooth then there was no or little contact, I kept up with the emails and things resumed. He mentioned in his "not to break the email chain letter or subject". I makes it easier for him to keep track of things. His tunes are good, be patient and keep up on emails is all I can say.
