Yep I installed one.. dont let the 4.0 adapter kit fool ya.. its for the upto year 2000
4.0 ranger not the sohc one. The older engine has the power steering res right on the pump.. The new engine has a remote resevoir. It will work but its a major B*tch
Need a 18mm flange nut wrench among other things. Took about 4 hours in the driveway to get the hoses on but everything else took about an hour

Rand on here has one on his Ranger. All the winches are the same (military and civilian) all you would need is to buy the right Ranger fittings. Maybe one can "fall of the back of the delivery truck"...*wink*wink* Did you guys get them in the HUGE wooden crates.....that would be hard to fit in your pocket!
The one I got I actually bought from a Marine reservist, and some parts that came with it bear a striking resemblence to the military ones...like the fairlead was painted black, cable was greased, the hoses with it were WAY long (like HMMWV long)...all things we do to the ones on our COLT truck.....kind of makes me wonder actually.
