Yep I installed one.. dont let the 4.0 adapter kit fool ya.. its for the upto year 2000
4.0 ranger not the sohc one. The older engine has the power steering res right on the pump.. The new engine has a remote resevoir. It will work but its a major B*tch
Need a 18mm flange nut wrench among other things. Took about 4 hours in the driveway to get the hoses on but everything else took about an hour

The one I got I actually bought from a Marine reservist, and some parts that came with it bear a striking resemblence to the military the fairlead was painted black, cable was greased, the hoses with it were WAY long (like HMMWV long)...all things we do to the ones on our COLT truck.....kind of makes me wonder actually.
yea they came in big wooden crates that where heave as hell(2 man lift) i would have hide one in the mil van and brought it back but i had a grand am at the time no need for a winch
