North Shore LIne-X of Salem, MA

Do not use this guy for your spray-in Bed Liner.

He talks a good talk but when he has to walk the walk he falls down. FAIL

Short story:

Got this company, North Shore LIne-X of Salem, MA, to spray in the Line-X Liner.
Liner bulged around the mounting bolts and a short time later a small strip lifted.
He attempted to fix the bulges but failed and now the lifted strip… he has none nothing but mainly because I can not get hold of him.
Stay away… find someone else to do your liner, maybe even Rhino LIner.

Last point: the liner faded in less than two years…

There are a few, do a web search on "Line-X, MA" or “,RI" and they will pop up.

Let me know how you make out, I need to get mine repaired ?

There is one in cranston RI I'm going Monday and talking prices. He is willing to remove my roll on liner. I'm going to line x because of the clean look. I'm also ditching the bed cover and going tool box

Still nothing on this.
Line-X started out like they wanted to do something then blew me off.

Go-Figure what gives with them.

I think I will go back to their site and post another bad review !

most line-x places are franchises so it's probably hit or miss. I have a real good one near me that does a great job and seems to have lower prices than what people say they paid for line-x.

Line-x does fade though but so do other liners. They do have line-x Xtra which supposedly doesn't fade, there is a dodge around here that has had a shiny new looking line-x liner for quite a while now, so he did something to make it hold up well.

Thks, I wish I had your dealer near me.
Even though the dealers are privately owned I hoped Line-X INC would help but I am wrong so far.
I will be writing again and see where this gets me.

North Shore Line-X of Salem is now Line-X of Woburn.

Watch out when dealing with Line-X in general, the dealers and the Corporate will screw you, the Customer, while backing up their Dealers.

NOT GOOD IN MY OPINION !

Line-X

North Shore Line-X in Woburn is now the largest Line-X dealer on the East Coast doing work for 30 car dealerships in Massachusetts. They do all the work on the trucks of this Old house, Dustin Pedroya, Kyle Arrington as well as Massport and the State Police. If you try to put a Ford bed on your truck after it has been sprayed and over torque the bed bolts to a gazillion foot punds so that even the metal of the bed is bending, nothing good will come of it even if it is Line-Xd. Tip of the day.

Line-X of Woburn is owned by a Veteran who does a pretty good job.

Line-X Premium never fades. Standard Line-X will fade like the urethane paint on a truck if it is not washed and waxed to deal with the UVs. Factory paint is urethane now too and will fade if not maintained.

Considering he had it done 4 years ago, I'm sure he's learned to live with it or found a better replacement

Thks for the backup Morris !

Yes I cleaned up the mess the Salem Line-X did on my bed, repaired the lumps and the peeling and sealed things up.
Also, if there was a concern about the way the material was applied and the torque settings, nothing was mentioned to me.
AND there is still the question why didn't the shop foreman give me a receipt, I asked three times and the shop disappeared... Funny !
Also, you would think, if there is an unsatisfied customer, from a questionable dealer, Line-X would want to get to the bottom of the problem.

It is too bad I wasn't more into Facebook back then, I would have posted this out there and there still is Yelp !

If anyone asks me about Line-X, which I considered the best bed liner, I will only tell them about the bad job their shop did and worse yet, about the company that did not stand behind their product, did not make it right with the customer.

Sorry, got carried away again !

Someone has a bad experience they tell 10 people.

Someone has a good experience they tell 1 person.

These are proven stats, I learned in retail 15 years ago. Whenever I have a good experience I try to let others know when the situation pops up.
