Edelbrock Monotube Shocks

Well since my twintubes IAS shocks are defective and discontinued I can get a set of monotubes for the rear for 50 bucks after they credit me for my defective ones. What are your opinions on these? Should I get them or should I just return mine and get my money back. Another option I would have is get them and sell them for about 110 plus some shipping. Summit sells them for 75 a piece. Just looking for some advice here.

I got Gabriel Ultra shocks. 65 per set. So ~130 total from Autozone. They ride nice and are much stiffer than stock. I personally think Edelbrock belongs on a car. But that's just my opinion. Get Bilstein's...they're really nice, but kinda pricey.

I got a set of Bilstien on the way. They are supposed to have about 15k on them and I paid 40 bucks shipped. They are gonna replace the front and hold me over on the rear or possibly just take over the rear for good too. But I still have defective ones that I bought in March to deal with.

Oh, well I say just use the Bilstiens and get a shock that doesn't cost much that replaces the defective and sell what you get out of them? Was that hard to follow?

I'm not really looking for suggestions as to what to buy. I wanted to know opinions on the edelbrock monotubes because I am getting them or returning my defective ones for a refund. I have a used set of Bilstiens to put on all the way around so unless someone can tell me that the edelbrock monotubes are better or someone wants to save a few bucks on a brand new set I guess I am just gonna return the defectives ones for a refund.

I posted this in reviews not general cuz thats what I wanted.........sorry for the rant and I'm not attacking anyone I just wanna know what I asked.

Mine seemed to work ok, nothing to compare them with except stock Seemed to be stiffer but that could be my cranked TB's.

Sorry not 4. I paid 40 bucks shipped for the used Bilstiens off ebay. It was all 4 shocks in the set. It was late and I must have been tired. I fixed it above. Thanks Drayke

Does that mean you have them on the front? If they are stiffer do you like them better than stock?

I have the Edelbrock IAS Monotubes all the way around. Yes, I'm ok with a bit stiffer ride on my truck.
