sirius costumer service
I old recieve was broken and then was stolen so i finally had some spare money to get me a new one and was dreading calling them after some members have had issues with them. But i was suprised, told the lady the problem and it only took a total of 5 minutes from the time I dialed the number until I hung that I was back in business
Seems like they work out some of the bugs with the sportster replay that my old one had too. Altho I dont like that they dont give you very many fm channels to choose from but it is a lot louder than it use to be

I have a thread covering the on-going issues I've had w/ them. I had to call them just yesterday to try to get them to get off their asses and refund the tripple charge they charged my CC. I called the main 1800 number THREE times and ended up getting disconnected while waiting in their holding pattern each time. I eventually gave up and called a special back-door 1800 number that one of the more helpful service people-who are few and far between in my experience-gave me. I think the number patches me through directly to their 'retention' department which is staffed by 2nd tier or better service staff, people that actually know what the hell they are doing. This seems to be the only way to get my issues resolved.
I love the idea, the equipment, and the content, but I hate the customer service. I go from absoloutely hating them and wanting to hunt someone down to being okay w/ it and willing to look the other way regarding the issues. The sad part is that I really miss Sirius radio now that I have a ~1 hour each way daily commute.. I will probably get suckered into re-enabling my radio and throwing them even more money..

I'm in my truck delivering mail 4-5 hours daily 6days a week. I had one old Orbiter go dead on me within the warranty period and within an hour and the Radio Shack I bought the radio from, had a brand new on out of the box. Been working for a year already. I had it mounted on the windshield high, but it would vibrate a lot with the ride, so I put it on the dash with the mounting cup still on the windshield. Held up just fine. Only problem I have now is the dial light goes out. I just figgered it was the constant vibrating it got before.
I'm a huge NFL fan and call their shows daily.
