Company Review: Lil Devil Motorsports

Review
Lil Devil Motorsports: www.lildevilmotorsports.com

I was reluctant at first to order from a company callled, "Lil Devil", just because I personally like official, correct spelling, clear grammar and well -- a name I recognize. Lil in my book reminds me of some young punk with his underwear hanging out his pants. This company clearly isn't that case.

I ordered a Xenon lower air-dam for the Ranger. They declined my credit card because my shipping address and billing address did not match. My shipping address is to Michigan, my billing to Japan.

Anyhow, a quick email to their sales address afforded me a response in a very short amount of time from a Rodney Lanthier.

I explained about my shipping and billing addresses, and he said to go ahead and try it one more time. I even added my USA address on my Credit Card. It was still a no go.

I inquired about using PayPal, as I know that that for sure 100% works. He said that they do offer PayPal's services on a special basis, and that I could use it in this instance.

So, after I told him the part I was interested in, he sent me an email to verify with an included link that it was indeed the part I was interested in. I said yes, and sent him the money over PayPal.

About 2 minutes afterwards, I received a payment confirmed email from Rodney. Also, about 5 minutes after that, I had a FedEx tracking number, stating 3-day priority shipping. Then, I received a copy of that email from Rodney, and him stating that he sent it priority to me.

My parents received the part later that week in a nicely packaged box. The air-dam was very nice, and no marks, scuffs, cuts or blemishes.

The mounting hardware was missing, though. I sent a quick email to Rodney. He called the manufacturer and said that it'll be shipped out as soon as possible.

Cliff Notes:

I highly recommend "Lil Devil Motorsports" and their services.

Rodney is an awesome guy. I contacted him about a potential group buy for another site. Very nice guy. Also when comparing prices on several items I kept coming across them as being the cheapest.

I have to once again update this thread concerning this company.

I just ordered what is to be the final functional part for my truck before it goes to Florida. I can start saving my money now.

Anyway, I have been wanting the "40658" model muffler from Borla, but I could not find it anywhere. Couldn't get it online, can't get it on eBay, can't find it at any online retailers. I even had my Dad look around in some of the shops in the States.

Anyway, for the heck of it when I was wanting to get the Magnaflow Catalytic Coverter, I emailed Rodney and asked -- as I could only find it at one other place and I didn't feel like spending my left leg to get it.

He said that he could get it, no problem. I inquired about the possibllity of locating this like, "gold" of a muffler. He said to give him a few days, and he'd get back with me.

So, few days go by and I get an email saying that his warehouse doesn't have any, but may get some over the weekend. They indeed, did.

He received 4 of them the next weeka nd and has let me know about the timetable in email. He emailed me this morning and said they were available for purchase, and that one was more or less 'saved' for me.

I ordered one this morning, Rodney shipped it for free, and sent it FedEx 3-day to me. What a way to bring in the holiday spirit.

Another good job for the Lil Devil in Motorsports.
