Few notes, 245F for 15 minutes for the headlights, 195F for 10 minutes for the clear corners. To pry open use 2 flat heads. Take long time!

The center chrome eye things are NOT painted, they just reflect all the black.. and yes she is dirty, and yes the driver's side fog light is foggy!

did you have any issues with the chrome coming off when you were removing the tape? I did mine a few weeks ago and some of the chrome chipped off.

I also had this crazy idea if someone made a custom cut black decal to go inside the headlight/corner it would save alot of time! Though I have no means of doing it.

Yes. I used blue painters tape and took it off too fast on the driver's side. It's not really noticeable, just 5 small spots there to annoy me.

the corners dont match the heads in my eyes(looks too chrome)....you need to take those apart again, and paint the outside rim on the lense...like this:

I thought about doing that but worried it wouldnt seal right, currently paranoid I am going to wake up to foggy headlights as is.

It's one of those "you want me to put perfectly good headlights in the oven?" sort of dilemma.. I've thought about doing it for years and today happened to be the day where I sucked it up and did it. Sooooo worth it.

 

Looks good, but I agree with Shane. The trim does need some paint.
