Bedliner'd my toolbox, sub + box, some new pics
hey, so a couple weeks ago I took of my leer cap and got my tool box sprayed with bedliner, and the following weekend on spontaneously decided to go buy a sub and amp and a sheet of mdf to throw together something for my truck, I have the carpet for the sub box now but just waitin for the time to put it on.
The sub is an 8" Infinity, amp is a pioneer, the thing pounds like I couldn't believe, most of what I listen to is rock or metal, but nice for the odd time I listen to something with some bass.
It's the first time I've every put together a box, it's sitting on little stilts because of a slight miscalculation on how high that bump in the centre of the vehicle comes up... :(.. But for the 10 bucks is cost to build I'm not too worried, sounds great for now, and I'll eventually come up with a new lower profile shape and size hopefully.

Thanks :), ya I originally wanted a black tool box but everyone said the powdercoat always ends up chipping, especially if you get one painted from factory... then I decided, what the hell, avoid the risk, spend a fortune and get it sprayed (I didn't do this myself). $10 per sq/ft by Line-X, costly, but looks cool IMO

ya, i've got the bed done too. Love having it done, you can practically throw a golf ball in the back and leave the tailgate down and it wont fall out.. not exactly a good example, but ya, its durable as hell, looks cool, keeps moisture from sitting between a plastic liner and the paint, and ya, its not as slippery as the plastic so stuff does tend to stay put more.... though I did break 3 bottles of beer last week cause I forgot they were back there and was taking some back roads home from the beer store

It wasn't difficult at all. I pulled my deck out far enough to fit my hand into the hole where it normally sits, and with my other hand I fed the wires up and grabbed em.
Oh, and as far as the rest of the body of the truck, gettin the wires from the amp to the dash, I just had to remove the plastic piece of trim that runs along the doors and I just fed the wires under the vinyl floor covering... Not sure if older rangers had vinyl or if it was still carpet, but thats how I did it.

haha, I probably will... for a brief time I was debating selling my truck to help get myself out of debt, but I think I'm just gonna consolidate my debts and just try to get rid of things I don't need/want anymore... examples, stock rims/tires, drum set, leer cap, and FENDER FLARES lol... Ya you'll get your flares.
