Back in NL for a few days, few pics of my Jetta

When I moved to Alberta from Newfoundland 3 years ago I left my Jetta with my dad, who has been taking care of it and using it in the summers when raining too hard to drive his Harley. Its a 92 Jetta GTX (again like my reg cab fx4 only sold in Canada in super limited numbers) but is basically the GLI with a few other goodies. It its a wolfsburg as well and came with Recaro seats and BBS wheels and a 16v 2.0L DOHC. It is in need of a little love, and cleaning (dad was nice and kept it waxed but does not understand how to mask off black trim to keep it from getting white dried wax paste out of the textured plastic grrr....) It only has 155 000 km on it and is completely stock besides a short shifter w/ new shifter and boot, and I painted the rear plastic white because it was cracked so i fixed it and painted it to hide the evidence. I am planning on taking it up to Alberta with me next year and do some work on it and turning it into a little street machine. Needs a few little rust spots fixed and will repaint the whole thing, either black or redo the alpine white. Coil overs, lowered a few inches, shave the rear handles and put mk3 conversion handles in the front. And eventually build a boosted VR6 motor for it.

Looks like my cousins. He had about 400,000 km on the original motor and trans, and still raced it at the track on weekends lol.

I wouldnt mind one myself, lowered, boosted, it would be fun as hell. And I like them alot more than the newer Gen's. A bit more "manly" lol

It handles amazingly, it has stiffer suspension than most jettas as well. It sticks to the road like glue. Once it gets dropped a little with coilovers it's going to be crazy.
YaI love the older VW's, they are much meaner looking for sure... This was the last year of the MK2 body style as well. I have allot of people trying to buy this car off me. They are super rare, especially in this conidition,.
