Some Weak Flexing, Subtle Changes
So I was bored today and took a few photos, seems like it's been a few months since I've taken any photos so thought I'd update. I think the only visible update is that I was sick of seeing rusty centre caps and lug nuts so I painted them black for now until I can find some replacements.
I also removed my leer cap a while ago to put the line-x tool box back on. But I'm making some work changes which will mean having a cap will make life easier, plus a cap is handy in the winter so I can keep all my tools in the truck without worrying about weather.
I have a couple of "flexed" shots in here... nothing special, I had enough trouble getting out of the truck to take the pictures as is due to a leg injury.
I suppose to keep up in the interesting pics department on here I'm gonna have to catch up to fellow canadian immortal vision and get a body lift and some 35s.... maybe in a year or 2 haha. heres all I've got for now :(

Looking good man. Wheels are a little too wide for my taste, but it does look pretty sick.
I agree with the making the truck look shorter. Same thing happened with my Bronco when I went from my stock wheels to wider wheels.
How are them Duratracs? Complaints? Any snow experience?
I'll be lifting my Ranger in the next few weeks and getting the Duratracs.

Ha, a topper fan eh? Ya I think I'm going to put it back on this weekend. Just too convenient to keep off very long.

I used to have a lowered car that had about 2" of ground clearance so snow would come and that meant semi-storing it, winter rubber and rims, rust... I hated winter with a passion. Now I welcome winter like a long lost brother! Winter justifies the thousands of dollars of money I've sank into my truck :).

It was great to hear all the positive comments about the truck. Sadly I have recently gotten rid of the truck. As a carpenter I do a lot of driving usually, and I've mostly been framing so haven't had to carry around much more than a lunch and a tool belt. I found I was just spending way too much on gas and it wasn't really something I could justify right now because I have some debt I need to get rid of so I downsized... for now. I'm hoping that with the savings of driving this new vehicle I will be able to pay off the debts faster and then start looking at getting a fullsize truck, most likely an F150, when I actually need it more for work.
So for now I'm driving around in this: 2007 mazda 3 Sedan, 5 speed. I promised myself I was gonna keep it bone stock for hassle free trade in down the road.. but I couldn't help myself haha.. Gave it some coilovers (will probably go lower in spring).. shopping for some rims for spring... something with a low offset to get those rims poking with some stretched rubber :)... Thats all I'm doing though so if I trade it in I can quickly convert back to stock and sell the aftermarket stuff seperate. It actually isn't a bad tool hauler either! With seats down I was able to load my mitre saw, table saw, sawzall, drills, levels, skilsaw etc etc etc... So it'll work for now for my line of work haha. I miss my Ranger a lot, and sometimes wish I hadn't gotten rid of it, but the money I'm saving on gas is great right now, just what the doctor ordered for a couple years to pay the debt off. Winter will suck.. no more going out to play in snow storms.. Oh well.. sooner or later I'll be up in the air again :).
Had a great time on the forums, thanks to everyone
