The '04 is long gone... 94 Runnin Strong

So as some of you might have read in the general discussion session I have had quite a few vehicles since the 2004 Level 2, but now i have one i can never get rid of this one is, well, special, I am the third owner of this truck, first my Grandpa, then my Dad Now Me. Now when I got her she needed work, needed a MAF, plugs, Wires, Tires, and it needed some tlc. Well I took her in, changed the Plugs and Wires, the MAF, got new tires, changed the oil and cleaned her. and this is what she is now...

When I Got Her

And Now...

Henrys Muffler redid my muffler from the previous picture.

As I get some more money I'm gonna level her out get some FX4 Stickers, repaint her (color ideas accepted) get some bucket seats out of an explorer and get a rally style push bar with a bug deflector and try to locate some 06 taillights

Looks good, I'd keep the color, put some tint, nightshade, billet grille, tool box and some lock out hubs.

Dude this is a sharp looking 94. I would leave the paint alone.

You know what its funny I bought some rubbing compound and spent like 3 hours polishing it today and i think i might leave it alone but i believe that if i do get it painted i will get that vista blue had it on my 'stang and loved it. In response to the toolbox request, this has kind of been my Craigslist restoration. i have probably spent a total of 50 dollars restoring it, I got a lay in bed-liner free and yesterday got a set inside toolbox (wanted a deep box) for $19 it sits about 4 inches above the bed.

Keep the ideas coming If anybody has build pictures of their Gen 3 Ranger I would love to see them please!!!

I would take it to a muffler shop and get the pipe that comes out of the muffler with one that has been mandrel bent, there is a serious restriction from what the photo shows. 17 years old and still looks great!

I would ditch the magnetic cb mount and go with a whip connected to the tool box. I think it would look a lot better.

Well since no one wants to post on this thread anymore ill keep it alive. My project this week has been a leveling kit. Bought a 2 inch kit off craigslist for a 2wd thought it would bolt right up, but it didn't, the coil spring bolt spacers weren't the same size as on a 4wd and the shock spacers didn't fit either so that put me in a pickle. I made it work though put the spacers on and bolted them down with the stock coil bolt and have some Pro Comp ES1000 shocks coming my way they have 3 inches more travel than the stock ones do and I got all 4 for $120 will post pics up as soon as i get those on.

If anyone has Their Gen 3 trucks leveled or has Pro comp ES1000s on their rig post up some pics please.

Josh

Your truck is super clean for the year! Looks good! Paint the front valence and rear bumper plastics to match the flares and your set
