Those of you that have a 2 door extended cab will probabley agree with me about how precious your space is. Well my little girl is almost at the point of being able to ride in the jump seat in back. So the stereo box that i Have is gonna haft hit the road. So today I spent some time taking some measurements and figuring out what I was going to do. I looked at all the threads here and found a couple that I liked and tried to take what I found and what I wanted and merge them together. The box I designed is going to sit right behind the explorer console, and still allow the use of the jump seats. One of the problems I had was the 1600 watt amp that takes up alot of space and in the pictures you'll see below it just floated around on the floor. Not a good idea. So I finally got it bolted up against the back wall. I had to put the old speaker box back in tonight due to the fact we have some wonderful thunderstorms coming:

I've gotta clean the wire's up but I've gotta re-do it anyway when I put the new speaker box in, so not gonna bother.

 

i had 2 12's in mine, and it was just too big. it took up too much room. i miss the bump, but what i have now works fine for me



that sub is now behind the drivers seat and on the floor
