Did some much needed re-painting...

Title says it all :)

I bedlined my grill, valence, flares, and hitch...again! After about a year or so it has become faded, from all the pressure cleaning and such.

I also had a fair amount of wax on the flares.

Anyone have any input as to any exterior mods? I had the two lights on the front, but dislike the way it looks, I used them 2x and they barely helped, btw. HID's are bright enough for me...

I want to do 06 tails and tailgate setup, maybe window deflectors...

Looks great! You should pull the amber corners apart and paint the back black.

Line-x the rocker panels now! Flares look good.

Hey, how did you get the hitch on the front? Is it welded to the frame?

I want to line-x it all. The valence, flares, grill, bug guard, bumpers, and lower rocker...that would be expensive!!!

just curious what kind of bed liner did you use for the lower valance? you said you re did it because it faded, did it chip at at all, or did it hold up pretty good? I have tried painting mine a few times, and it just does not want to stay on, especially with high pressure washers. I am about ready to buy an edge valance and have it painted and be done with it.

I used duplicolor bedliner spray. It worked great, it did not chip on the valence, flares, or anything I put it on. It did wear away, but not chip. It did get very faded, and don't even get wax near it...stays on there.

Sorry, I didn't answer the hitch question before, it's just a draw tite front hitch, I did weld it becuase I only used 2 bolts...it is supposed to be held in with 4. I could easily grind the welds though, it's more or less just tacked in.

Is that an extra black billet i see sitting there? you sell? yes? Tell me about your front hitch w/ the 3" bodylift....is that just the hidden hitch one?

Here's what i suggest.....

DITCH THE BUG GARD!
Talk to Scotty about the 06 tailgate restyle...he'll hook ya up!
Get 06+ corners and join the black 06+ corner movement!!

Tell me about your hitch!!

Yea, just a hidden hitch.

I want to do all the 06+ stuff soon, but I want 6" springs and wheels first...

Yea, I love it!

Make sure you get the regular one, that goes between the valence, not the reese one that goes below the valence.

I had to weld mine...I could only get two bolts in, I didn't want to drill at that time, and I wouldn't be able to get the bolt in any way. Either way, it's strong as can be!
