Now 3in Body Lifted!

Well this weekend i ended up doin the 3in bodylift on my truck...and thanks to John, Brian and Nick and even the 1in everything came out real nice and easy. I also got a tonneau cover from Johnathan thanks man! I redid my headlight mod and did it DSG with the 06 corners!

oo well heres a few pics i'll post more later on.

This is true next set of tires will prob be 35's i'm thinkin. But yeah i need to get a custum bumper made or something. I'm not planning on taking my tow hooks off..n i don't plan on cutting my valance either...so basically i might be getting a 98-00 bumper n runnin that for a while.

I wouldn't run 35's with just a bodylift.

As far as the tow hooks go, do some searching or ask my dad (04 EDGE) what he did to his.

just take the tow hooks off and put your bumper on, its looks unfinished, till you can get a custom bumper or something just dont get stuck where you cant get to the back

One problem with taking my tow hooks off would be the that my skid plate is mounted 2 the bolts so if i take them off then i'm gonna have a hell of a time putting my skid plate back on. I'll figure something out so far all i heard from everyone who did the 3in bl was either take the tow hooks off or slot the valance...and i'm really not a fan of either

The 1" is pretty easy and the 3" isn't too bad but the one thing that always likes to be difficult is the 2 radiator support bolts. Anybory planning a body lift and maybe even if your not should spray down those front bolts. They like to rust into the sleeve they go through on the body mount....of course heat makes them a breeze.
