Too bad I had to slow down so much. As has everybody, lol.

Looks really good Trent, much better! I like that grill a lot, but I think grills like that look 100x better without the Ford logo on them so I wouldn't put it back on. And pleaseeeeeeeee don't color match your headlights, that would look terrible IMO.

I think it looks too plain without an emblem, I ordered a new one so I'll see how it is. If it looks bad I can always take it off its no biggie.

I went with a MBRP dual split stainless exhaust

Oh yeah, forgot to ask. Whats the lean condition you were talking about? Maybe it's what my dads truck has. When you floor his it the engine sounds like its misfiring kinda and shakes.

My local dealer charges way to much for parts so I have to order all mine online. Tasca always takes a good bit to get parts, they have to order them and get them in then ship them to me.

Theres a common problem when running a CAI with a bigger inlet tube the MAF runs the lean because it can't keep up with the larger amount of air or something like that. It happens at WOT and when its under a big load like towing. What intake is on your dads? You need custom tunes to get rid of it, which is expensive.

There are know to be lean issues with the pre 2006 F150 5.4L, some of them where running lean from the factory and the aftermarket in take makes it worse. I believe it was correct in 2006 or 2007

I think his truck is an 05, maybe an 06 but I think it's an 05. It's got the square fogs, not the circle ones.

It's got the same Airraid that you have, but it's weird since it didn't start doing it until about a year after he put it on. Hmmmm stock intake is still here I believe, maybe we need to put it back on? Supposedly there is a recall on something too I believe, I forgot what but he took it to Ford and they said they would test it to see if the recall was the problem but if it wasn't the problem he'd have to pay a diagnostic fee for a couple hundred bucks.

That grille will have to grow on me.

x2 I feel tapped out on what I want to do to my ranger. Sure there are some things I could still do, but I think I am done with major mods. I am gonna try and get into an f150 around the end of the year if I can. It doesn't help I get to drive my dads a couple times a week either.

Thats really cool, but they want like 500 for it. I might add some Hella's behind this grille

That intake looks really clean and simple. That is what I like. One of my favorite grills for the fiddy as well.

Me too, I'm a big fan of clean simple mods. Oh also I figured I'd check intake air temps, the temperature outside was 62 degrees and I was pulling in air that was 64 degrees running about 45-50 miles an hour. So thats not too bad for an open filter
