you are correct. Leave the foam on, taking it out wont do any good with airflow or weight reduction. I just replaced the front bumper cover and foam absorber on my moms 02 Mustang, and its true, the foam supports the bumper cover in the middle and the steel reinforcement is a solid slab. Taking out the foam wont do crap.
Exactly...I don't want added strain on those bolts/clips. If the radiator can get enough flow, so can the IC.
Ohh and don't worry, 5.1 kit is in the works for when this set up takes a dump. Slowly gathering parts for it.
