Well, had a wreck this time last year and have been rocking a primer hood, header panel and fender til yesterday. I wanted to do something kinda different and chose to do this. Tell the what you think even if you don't like it. Still working on getting a fender. Headlights and new grill is in the mail. So excuse the overspray and the crack in the grill.

I did the body work but I let a friend paint it. He had used a gun expirence then me.

Is the hood going to stay black?

 

I think when the fender gets painted green to match the rest of the body, I think it would look pretty good.

 

Yea, the fender will be green but the hood and header will be black. I wanted to be different so black and green is what I came up with.

 

I like the black hood against the green truck...lookin good!

 

I think the two colors go real good together. I am having a hard time finding a fender my color. I really do not want to have to paint the one I have due to money. No one has a fender my color around here.

That makes me sick. I have called every salvage yard in MS and all anyone has is white, gold or blue.

I wonder how much shipping on a fender would be HA.

I think you should paint every thing to match. The black hood looks unfinished IMO.

 

It still needs to be color sanded and buffed but I am going to let it cure before touching it anymore.
