Finally got my running boards installed

I finally got my running boards installed. I just decided to use the 2008 step bars from the 2008 Ranger Sport because it was going to be too much trouble choroming the 2002 step bars out.

Now I'm debating weather or not to sell my 7 spoke chrome wheels and getting some of those 15" 5 D chrome alloy wheels and some larger Goodyear Wrangler all terrain tires.
I would also like to put a 2" lift kit on it, but that's pretty much a pipe dream right now.

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

Brian

Looks good. Definitely needs some different wheels and tires to fill up those wheel wells!

Drop it ... as in lowered?
I don't have anything against low riders, but I like to sit up high when driving a truck.
I used to have a 1997 F-350 4X4 and I really liked being up that high.

Yeah, I totally agree ... but I'm just wondering how much a 2" lift kit cost and how hard it is to install.

Do you use the steps? It seems like the trucks low enough to just slide right in

I need those 06 emblems+mirrors+tails ... lol
Believe it or not, It was harder for me to find the correct rear mounting brackets. For some stupid reason Ford made the 2 door extended cab step bar brackets totally different, they bolt up to a bracket that's on the end of the cab.

No, I don't use the steps at all. They're mainly just for looks and they also keep a lot of people from hitting my truck with their car door. I used to have a 2002 Ranger Edge and I didn't even need step bars for that truck.
