The winches did not even touch him. I'm talking like stuck stuck...I don't think I have pictures of him stuck I was out helping, but I'll look if someone else does.
We used a huge excavator and it was really hard even with that. Then I got stuck in my atv trying to just get the rope over! It was the nasty...

I might have missed it, but where did you score this?
I saw a bunch (dual axle) for sale on another forum I'm on. A lot of people build those trucks up for mudding down here.
They do great and already have 2.5 tons, all you really have to do is bob the frame, sell the 2nd axle, clean it up, put a little lift and tires/wheels.
I am wanting to do it as a project...
What did you do for lift, or rather how did you acomplish it?

bobbed..dropped rear axle..chopped bed.. welded it up..ummm..yeah..
bought it from a government auction online.. 2100 out the door after taxes..
