New truck 87 F-150

Finally bought my own truck, my ranger is technically my dads, ive been wanting something with a v8 so i bought this but on to the pictures

its a 1987 F-150 custom with a 3 inch BL 33/12.50/15 auto with manual 4x4, 351W with true duel exhaust and im the 4th or 5th owner now, i bought it off my friends dad and i think it has about 160,000 miles, got a good deal on it only thing wrong is it pulls to the right

Is that the original 351? They got Eco in 85/86 and that looks like a carb setup. Either way, looks nice. That TTB is a pain to align

from what i know it is, i asked a guy at work and said he 87 came with both carb and efi, my setup is carb

88 was the last year of the carburetor option

Do yourself a favor now. look for a Dana 44 solid axle outta a 70s F150 or full size bronco and swap it in. TTB will be nothing but issues in a heavier truck like that.

But shes a clean looking rig. For some reason those trucks always looked the best jacked up with a chrome roll bar. I guess its an 80s thing?

Looks good, AFAIK 87 was the last year of carb and 88 was the first year of EFI. My 88 is EFI and the engine bay is WAY more packed than that lol!

Looks like a good solid truck. Hopefully the problem will be a simple fix like a seized caliper!

nice! i agree with the D44 comment. i'm going ot start looking for one to put under my bronco which also has a 351 but its fuel injected

I meant efi. Stupid auto correct. 85 was the transition year, at least for the 302. I know ive typed it before and my bronk was efi.

very little to no rust that i know of, hopefully its fixed soon i bought it off my buddy and about a month ago he got it alligned and they told him some part was needed so im getting that soon i dont remember what they said it was
