Icon10 Finally made it into the world of SVT!

Well as some or most know the 04 will be up for sale soon. So I needed a reliable DD to replace it. I found this score at a local nissan dealer ship.

2000 Ford Contour SVT
86k miles!

Not bad, looks pretty clean but the headlights need a polishing asap.
Why is the 04 going away?

I've always liked those. Faster and better handling than a 325 BMW of the same years. Awesome little cars and a great sounding exhaust (especially for a V6!).

Get some new headlights and keep'r clean

Shane - 2.5L V6 in there, manual trans only and 200hp IIRC. Suspension got a good chunk of work too. They were on the short list for cars before I got into the Ranger world. Those, Mark VIII's and a few other cars got the "interesting yet reliable" badge from me.

Thanks Steve. I've always liked 'em, just didn't know a thing about them other than they're an upsized Escort and had go-fast parts. LOL.

Why is the 04 going away?
Having to take a lot of time off work to take care of my parents. Plus it's costing me close to 500 a month. So life will get less stressful when it's gone.

Yep the 3.0 is a popular swap, but I am going to get this as original as I can.
