CB Finally mounted....pics....

Well have a very productive day today... changed my rear driveshaft u-joints and got the CB mounted...

The Antenna mount is a Firestik stake hole mount that is ment for camper tops and worked out well with the Extang full tilt..

Now complete props to dad on the CB brackets.. he heard me talking about how i wanted to mount them, and one day when he come home from work he had these made the big one is make of alum plates and is welded together at the same angle of the center console. he also made the bracket that goes on the CB being i lost mine.. plan on cleaning up the wires a little more this week..

On with the pics

I have had my cb mounted in the same place for a while and its not bad at all. I like it because its out of the way and once its on I really dont have to mess with it all that much anyways.

How often do you guys really change channels anyway? The only time I changed channels was to check the weather and I knew where that switch is.

Nice man! I'm not a huge fan of the antenna back there, but hey, it works for you and that's what counts! If it were me, I'd paint up that bracket, either flat or gloss black that way it will clean that area up a bit! Good install though!
