Painted my wheels

after the color request thread for my wheels i decided to do it. ive received alot of negative feedback on them so far so tell me what you think!

lugs and caps on Tuesday, im not running the ford caps anymore because they scratch

Before seeing them on the truck I didn't think they would look good but mounted they look awesome! Thats the best painted wheel job I've seen man, those kick ***!

you would disagree in person...i waited too long to pull the tape so i have jagged edges in spots where the paint wanted to come with the tape

Hey justin I say take the paint out to the next edge just past the rivets

Yes this would look good with the rivets left unpainted. Dunno how hard that would be tho.

this is duplicolor graphite wheel paint. pretty close to my dads dsg alcoas.

i couldnt paint to the edge outside the rivets because there is no "hard line" to tape off at, and it would blow to tape the rivets off and sand by them

Their alright. Think it would have looked better if you would have gone to the lip where the vale stem is. But if you like it thats all that matters.

you could have used acetone to remove the paint from the rivets. still time intensive tho.

it does look good. gives it a two piece look to it. i always like your truck. i've saved numerous pics of it.

hah this is the same exact paint i got for my mazda's wheels then!

I really like that, much better than just polished aluminum. Really works well with every thing else on the truck.

Negative feedback!?! two people that came over yesterday liked it! you ******. lol I think it looks good. prob after winter and to many trips to the car wash it might need to be redone but your not completely satisfied with it yet.

I like it Justin.

Maybe next time go to the graphics shop and have them print you off 4 rings in the diameter you need out of some low stick thin stuff, might peel off easier.
