How things have changed...kinda

Over the past few weeks I've kinda cleaned up my truck's looks a little bit.

Here is the truck completely bone stock, and how it looked from the dealer in 2002 right up til August 2008.

The day I got it, June 2008

Stock. 16" 3 spoke rims, running boards, deflector on the hood.

Got tired of the ugly rims so I made them 50% better and 50% uglier at the same time.

Smoked the lights shortly after, and also removed the running boards and moustache.

Got the Cragars and a cheap set of 31s I bought used.

Sucked up and bought the Coopers like 2 weeks later.

Traded the Cragars for the Mickeys. Also ditched the retarded mudflaps.

Added yellow fogs after fixing my broken fog light assembly. Waiting for my 8500k headlights to show up as I write this.

Decided the smoked lights sucked. Cleaned em up and redded out the tails and now we're at he current look.

Inside, I haven't done anything except put in a 2007 OEM mp3 compatible headunit.

I don't plan to do much more to it, since it has a ton of miles on it. I'm just maintaining it and doing little mods here and there. The next biggest thing will be in the spring, I am going to Rockerguard the lower portion from the lower bodyline down because it's starting to rust and my rockers are peeling and rusting.

From what I started with, a clean bone stock truck, just by doing some easy cosmetic work, it's really changed the look of the truck just by unbolting things, painting stuff and putting on some new wheels.

Yeah check out the tailgate lol. The rockers have no paint left. The bottoms of the doors are beginning to bubble. The A-pillars and roof are rusting too. All around the flares is also peeling off. Eevery time I wash it I lose more paint. But that's what 7 years and 408 000km will do. It's also been undercoated 3 times. I couldn't afford to do it this year.

I loke your truck Mike. Clean, simple, and looks great with those wheels and tires. It kinda reminds me of my roommates before he lifted his.

no,not HIDs, just regular halogens. I realize they will kinda suck, but spring is almost here. And the bright yellow fogs make up for some of the reflection and glare.

I wanted them just for the colour, I wanted blue headlights and yellow fogs.

Thanks. I'm just sad that the Rangers get all the aftermarket exterior accessories and the Mazdas have NOTHING. Like, they don't even make freakin altezza tails for them. But you can get altezzas for a freakin Caravan! WTF!

Those Coopers look great on there, perfect size/width for the profile of truck. I think it would nice with the chrome grille surround painted black and the reflectors removed from the corner lights. Needs chrome tow hooks as well, still a great looking B.

Yeah I think the tires look just right on there with no lift. I cranked the torsions 2 full turns to level it out after I put the Coopers on.

I see a lot of Mazdas with the black grilles and they just look cheap. I like shiny stuff anyways lol. I'd love clear corners and some FX4 Lvl II hooks.

These tow hooks make it a pain in the *** to re & re the bumper.

Funny how good it looks considering it is now 7 years old and has over 400 000km (250k miles) on it.

Just proof that my dad took care of it and I'm continuing the trend.

I can't wait til I move out west so I can ditch the front plate!

Looks good man! I like it. BTW, those black wheels with STT's looked incredible together! I vote to either paint them, or have them powdercoated (after you find a job of course)
