Cleaning my truck and some random Alaska pics

I don't share too many pics but I had a busy day of cleaning and even got to use a wax buffer...

I dunno why but usually it ends up looking like this the next day. For some reason the climate here attracts frost to my truck.

Don't really have any more right now.. Just been working every week day fulltime, taking college courses and training firefighting while being a firefighter. Busy life, I need a vacation!

drives me nuts too dude. The weld on it always breaks every time i have someone fix it. That's on my list to get entirely replaced, i should get a dual exhaust.

No brah, it's just "improperly hanging". It looks fine when welded correctly but i STILL want dual exhaust.

I need to throw on my wheels and tires soon though, i mean my second set for winter.

It's hard to explain but..

There's a grant that my town got that pays for all my college expenses and living as i train to become a firefighter. So I am brown tagged and technically I am on shift every third night from 7pm-7am but I generally respond any time if I'm in the area. It's hard to explain but I'm neither a volunteer or a career.

My FF1 testing is in May though.

Sometimes, when I am sitting in paint.NET making these things, I think to myself, why am I putting so much effort into this thing?

Also noticed that your valence is cracked. How did you do that?

lol nice. Valence was broken by a truck towing me years ago. Then I fixed it with fiberglass patch and then rebroke it climbing a "too steep snow bank".

That's pretty cool how that works out, Fire service is pretty competitive around here

Here too, I know right now there's 19 positions up in Anchorage that 500 guys are testing for. But the good thing is I don't have to go to college(but i am getting college credit) for a 2 year fire degree. End of next year I'll hopefully be FF2/EMT1/RIC/Engineer. Okay, maybe a lil longer..but still. With fire fighter 2 you're hireable anywhere. Firefighting is awesome.

Korey, for sure. I'd like to make an offroad bumper eventually but lack the skills and tools.

That's what I was thinking.

I got my 4x4 valence off ebay for like $70 I think. Shipping included. But that was down here. Plus it's just Taiwanese crap so it isn't the best one ever made or anything. Looks fine though.
